The culinary skills of executive chef Markus Mayr, who has been awarded four toques and one Michelin Star, are being presented in the à la carte gourmet-restaurant “The Glass Garden”.
The gourmet restaurant is located in the middle of the newly constructed glass dome. An expansive panorama window facade which can also be opened when the weather is right allows our restaurant guests to enjoy a breathtaking view of Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart.
Installed in the center of the restaurant is an artistically designed hand-blown glass sculpture entitled “Chrysolite Aqua Tower” by the American artist Dale Chihuly. This glass tower is made of 140 individually crafted glass elements.
Combined with the innovative lighting design, the installation provides an extraordinary atmosphere. The well-thought-out lighting concept is perfectly complemented by the hand-crafted furniture made of the most exquisite materials.

Amazing food, ambience and service. The service was exceptional out of the gate, the bar service was great and they walked us carefully through the menu and our options. Amazing amuse bouche was served with every course along with an exception selection of hand crafted mini-desserts.
