Mönchstein Picnic

There entire Castle Park and the wonderful Mönchsberg are available to you or you can choose a space of your own.

Our picnic basket contains a picnic blanket and is filled with seasonal delicacies.

The “Mönchstein” picnic basket contains:

Drinks:

• 1 large bottle of mineral water
• 1 bottle of wine
• 1 pot of coffee
  

“Delicacies”:

• Farm butter from the Pinzgau Region
• Salted butter from Poitiers in France
• Various types of bread
• Radishes and cherry tomatoes from our Salzburg garden with a spicy curd cheese spread
• Mixed pickles  - various sorts of pickled vegetables
• Cucumber salad with sour cream and dill
• Home marinated Atlantic char with a mustard-dill sauce
• Hard cured sausage from Carinthia and farmers’ ham
• Tyrolean boiled ham with various mustards
• Fresh fruit
• Hotel speciality “Gugelhupf” (speciality similar to a Bundt cake)
• Strawberries with light vanilla cream
• Austrian and French cheeses
• Selected chutneys

You must leave your passport/ID card at the reception as a deposit for the duration of the picnic and ask that you return the basket to the Hotel after about 4 hours.

Please give us 24 hours notice to prepare your picnic.
